Carnevor Milwaukee

If you know me you know that I love great food. I enjoy most types of food, and enjoy trying new foods and restaurants.  I recently dined at Carnevor in Milwaukee... and loved it...

From the time of arrival my experience was a good one.  Milwaukee in the winter can be very cold, especially in the snow, and when combined with downtown's lack of parking it can be brutal to venture out.  Like a lot of downtown businesses Carnevor has no parking lot, but does have valet parking which allows you to avoid spending too much time in the cold (which has reached negative 14 this winter.)

Once inside Carnevor has a great ambiance, both masculine and sexy.  And, the food is delicious.  I strongly recommend the lobster bisque as well as the scallop entrée.  The scallop entrée is bursting with three different distinct flavors from the sauce in the spaghetti squash, the sautéed broccoli and tender scallops.  Carnevor is generally known for its steak, but I'm not a big steak fanatic.  I did however try a bit, and it too was delicious.  Overall Carnevor did not disappoint, and I will be back for more!

Carnevor is located downtown at 724 N. Milwaukee St.
