If you consider yourself a true foodie but have never been to a food truck festival you must go. Its like the fair without all the unnecessary stuff. Actually 90% of the reason we go to the fair is to eat and try absurd things our friends have told us about, like chocolate covered bacon, or hamburgers with Krispy Kreme donuts as buns (which by the way are both disgusting at the fair, pre-made and dried up).
A good food truck festival on the other hand, I've found can be both experimental and delicious. One of my favorite food trucks of all time is the Kogi BBQ truck, which fuses Korean and Mexican food in the form of Korean barbeque tacos and burritos. It is the best of both worlds.
